The Visionary Interior Design Awards offer an opportunity for our design community to celebrate design excellence in our region and highlight the individuals and project teams responsible for the success of noteworthy and visionary projects. This year our theme is In Full Spectrum - Where Vision Takes Form!
Step into an evening where creativity unfolds, ideas illuminate, and design excellence shines.
Competition entries will be judged by a panel of interior design professionals from across the country and all entries will be displayed virtually. The jurors will review the entries as a slide show of projects and select the winner in each category based on the award criteria. Award winners will be announced at the event on Thursday, June 18, 2026. The jury will have sole discretion whether to select a recipient for an award. Awards will be given for the best overall submission in the following categories.
* Corporate (under/over 20,000 SF)
* Education & Institution (under/over 30,000 SF)
* Healthcare (under/over 50,000 SF)
* Hospitality/ Retail
* Public Spaces/ Institution
* Living (Multifamily/Dormitory/Senior Living)
* People's Choice Award
* Legacy Award (Chapter Nominated)

The chapter’s signature events celebrate design excellence, foster creativity, and support members at every stage of their professional journey.
Fashion Meets Finish is a collaborative design competition where teams partner with two material manufacturers to create a unique garment using both partners’ materials.
Product Parade is an honored tradition for current and emerging design professionals to connect with the community at large and to see the latest and greatest product offerings from your favorite manufacturers.
VIDA (Visionary Interior Design Awards) is the chapter’s annual awards program, honoring innovative interior design and recognizing the visionary work of our members.
elevate is the chapter’s student-focused initiative, supporting student members and campus centers through resources, events, and opportunities that build connections and inspire the next generation of interior designers.
